A.L.A. is invited to the 2025 Battle at Midway Tournament in Seaside Park!

📋 Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, August 7, 2025

• Location: 6th Lane & Ocean, Seaside Park, NJ

• Team Size: 6 team members (All competitors must be employed by the competing Beach Patrol and at least 16 years old)

• Certificates Required: Insurance Certificate & Waiver of Liability

• Beach Access: Via 14th Ave, Seaside Park

• Start Times: Beach Flags at 5:40 PM; First Water Event at 6:00 PM

🥇 Event Line-Up:

1. Beach Flags – 1 Participant

2. Run Relay – 4 Participants

3. Swim Relay – 3 Swimmers

4. Paddle Relay – 3 Paddlers

5. Kayak Relay – 3 Paddlers

6. Medley Relay – 1 Swimmer, 1 Paddler, 1 Kayaker

📌 Important Information:

• Teams must finish each event with the required number of competitors.

• No participant can compete in more than one leg per event.

• Equipment provided: Standard Rescue Board (No Racing Boards), Scrambler or Frenzy Kayak, Rescue Torp for the Run Relay.

• Helmets are required where applicable.

• Scoring: 1st place - 4 points, 2nd place - 3 points, 3rd place - 2 points, 4th place - 1 point.

• 1st and 2nd place teams will receive plaques.

• Tiebreaker: Team with most first-place finishes.
