Every A.L.A lifeguard applicant, new or returning, must attended an interview and pass the annual tryout.

Interview Details:

• Meeting with A.L.A Chief Colin D Regn.

Tryout Details:

• 500 meter swim in under 10 minutes.

  • Suggested items: swim suit, swim goggles, towel, water bottle.

• 1 mile treadmill run in under 10 minutes.

  • Suggested items: running shoes, active wear, change of clothes.

• Time:

  • Sign-in begins 3:00PM
